In January 2024, severe flooding in Johor Bahru affected communities in Tebrau and Kampung Maju Jaya, leaving many homes covered in mud, debris, and contaminated water. The aftermath made it difficult and unsafe for residents to return home, while families at temporary flood relief centres required immediate food and essential supplies.
AL Pine Utility Services Sdn. Bhd. mobilised its high-pressure water jetting equipment and team to assist with cleaning affected homes. Together with company volunteers and local community members, the team worked to remove mud, dirt, and debris, helping restore homes to a safer and more habitable condition.
In addition to the clean-up efforts, AL Pine contributed food and essential supplies to flood relief shelters, providing immediate support to displaced families and evacuees.
Through this initiative, AL Pine worked alongside the local community and flood relief shelter management to help families begin their recovery and rebuild after the disaster. It reflects the company’s commitment to standing with communities in times of need and creating meaningful impact beyond its day-to-day operations.
